Larceny in pick No. 214 lands the Chargers a B, Nash and all.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Chargers watched Nick Nash slide 71 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

The phones were busy but the ledger stayed level.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
