The Packers won the night they stopped Gordon II from sliding. Grade: F.

The Packers clearly saw something nobody else did in Elijah Roberts, taking him 48 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. The board sounded every alarm, and the F is the fallout.

However the rest shakes out, Gordon II at that price is a win they earned. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

In the end, a class that has to defy its grades just to matter.
