Simon should have been long gone. The Chargers pounced, and earned a B. Somebody in No. 201 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Chargers sat still while Cody Simon, the No. 129 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
Walker has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
