The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Cam Skattebo, pick 202, roughly 102 picks past where he belonged. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Reaching for Sorrell left real value on the table behind him. The veteran additions, DK Metcalf chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
