Nobody had Tyler Batty this high, and it is not close. The Packers reached 64 spots to get him at pick No. 160. Hard to defend, and the D+ reflects that.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. That Pegues pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

The veteran additions, DK Metcalf chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
