Ewers should have been long gone. The Packers pounced, and earned a C-.

You could see the war room lean forward. Quinn Ewers at the Round 5 slot is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. It lands right in the middle: a C-, no more, no less.

Reaching for Mays left real value on the table behind him. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Not a disaster, not a triumph, just a middling class.
