The tape said wait; the Packers did not. Barryn Sorrell went at the Round 7 slot, a good 89 picks before the board was ready. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

That is a tight end worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
