You build a draft on nights like this. Kobe King had no business being available in the Round 7 slot, and the Packers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They are betting Brown proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
