The steal of the weekend belongs to the Packers and Skattebo: B+.

The board owed the Packers one, and it paid up: Cam Skattebo, the No. 105 name on the board, sitting there at pick 251 like a gift left on the doorstep. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

Reaching for Caldwell left real value on the table behind him. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend.

It is not that Walker is a bad player; it is that the Packers had louder needs to answer first. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
