The Packers got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D+.

The Packers clearly saw something nobody else did in Fred Davis, taking him 121 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. It grades a D+, and the process earned it.

That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose.

With quarterback and tight end unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
