Zvada should have been long gone. The Packers pounced, and earned a F. The war room fell hard for Fred Davis, and it showed at pick No. 255: 109 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. The warnings were there, and the F is the bill.
Zvada falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.
They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
The verdict is harsh because the weekend was, and there is little to argue.
