Jaybeast17 DRAFTING FOR THERavens
Draft Selections
Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall

FutureB-
A solid, sensible weekend for the Ravens: B-. There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Ravens started one anyway for Luke Kandra, 66 picks ahead of schedule.
They banked enough surplus on Allen to cover a lot of smaller sins. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
Pick Analysis
Pick27
Rnd1
Jonah Savaiinaea
In slot 27 they get a cornerstone up front, though they paid up to get him. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick59
Rnd2
Bradyn Swinson
No drama and no debate, Bradyn Swinson went about where he belonged in Round 2, Pick 27. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick91
Rnd3
Luke Kandra
Luke Kandra in pick No. 91 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick129
Rnd4
Que Robinson
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Que Robinson well ahead of where he belonged. It fills a real need, too.
Pick136
Rnd4
Tez Johnson
Taking Tez Johnson in pick 136 is close to grand larceny; a wide receiver that good had no business lasting this long. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick176
Rnd5
LeQuint Allen
LeQuint Allen in the 176th overall pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick183
Rnd6
Fadil Diggs
A wild overpay on Fadil Diggs in pick 183, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick203
Rnd6
Tahj Brooks
Tahj Brooks in the Round 6 slot is fair value, right on his grade. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick210
Rnd6
Luke Elzinga
Luke Elzinga at the 210th pick is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. It is more luxury than necessity; they were already set here.
Pick212
Rnd6
Caleb Rogers
Caleb Rogers at Round 6, Pick 36 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick243
Rnd7
Karene Reid
Karene Reid at the 243rd overall pick is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A minor itch, scratched.
