Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Jets spent Round 3, Pick 9 on Thor Griffith, a name the board had a full 245 spots lower. Little went right, and the F does not pretend otherwise.

That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.

Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

In short, a weekend the front office will want to forget in a hurry.
