Sanders should have been long gone. The Bengals pounced, and earned a A-. Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bengals were there to profit. T.J. Sanders, the No. 38 name on the board, should have been long gone before No. 235. This is how you run a draft, and the A- reflects it.
Every board in the league had Horton lower, and that gap is the story. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.
The Stewart pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at linebacker and quarterback. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through linebacker.
Bottom line, with Abdul Carter leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
