A mixed bag for the Patriots, and a C to match.

Boards are made to be trusted, and the Patriots shredded theirs for Xzavier Henderson. He came off 217 spots early, and the room will hear about it. Call it a C and check back in two years.

However the rest shakes out, Skattebo at that price is a win they earned. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.
