The real work happened on the phones. The Packers fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Fairchild has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The Trapilo value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
