The rest of the league had time to spare on Garrett Dellinger; the Steelers did not wait, grabbing him 45 spots ahead at the 251st pick. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

It is not that Pierce is a bad player; it is that the Steelers had louder needs to answer first. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Harris pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
