You can draft well and still miss the point. The Panthers did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to wide receiver, which was the need that mattered most. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
