A sensible, unshowy class lands the Dolphins a B-.

The rest of the league had time to spare on Graham Mertz; the Dolphins did not wait, grabbing him 70 spots ahead at No. 252. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They banked enough surplus on Paul Jr. to cover a lot of smaller sins. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Spending an early pick on safety with edge rusher open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.
