Larceny in the Round 5 slot lands the Dolphins a B, Neal and all.

The board owed the Dolphins one, and it paid up: Devin Neal, the No. 82 name on the board, sitting there at pick 149 like a gift left on the doorstep.

Every board in the league had Mertz lower, and that gap is the story. The Moore pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher still on the board.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

In pick 13 they get an anchor for the defensive front. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
