The Hayden Conner selection is the head-turner. The Dolphins reached 34 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

It is not that Moore is a bad player; it is that the Dolphins had louder needs to answer first. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Job largely done: quarterback settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.
