Spending an early pick on safety with edge rusher and linebacker open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. Getting McCord where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
