The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named linebacker, a need the Lions walked right past. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

The Thornton Jr. pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The cost of the Jackson reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Good work on the whole, with linebacker the one box left unchecked.

Dont'e Thornton Jr. slid further than he should have, and pick No. 196 is lovely value for the wide receiver. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
