The needs board said one thing and the 49ers did another, using the Round 4 slot on Andres Borregales while interior defensive lineman and edge rusher waited.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Loveland value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They will need Riley to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
