The Dolphins clearly saw something nobody else did in Chimere Dike, taking him 56 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

They will answer for taking safety early while edge rusher and linebacker went begging. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Getting McCord where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
