The Browns lost the trade table, and the D tells the story. The phones were a trap the Browns kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D is the result.
Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Taylor pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.
They left with tight end solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
Pick Analysis
Pick94
Rnd3
Mason Taylor
Mason Taylor is a better player than the 94th pick suggests; smart patience, rewarded. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
