The Giants robbed the room for Burke. Final grade: B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Giants were there to profit. Denzel Burke, the No. 115 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 5 slot. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

The Cook pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Lathan Ransom in the 105th pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.

Denzel Burke at the Round 5 slot is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
