You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Eagles did exactly that with Jalen Travis in the 164th overall pick. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want. Mbow at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

The Eagles paired the rookies with proven help, Michael Mayer leading the way.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
