The Chargers fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B+. Nobody had J.J. Weaver this high, and it is not close. The Chargers reached 121 spots to get him at the 213th overall pick. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.
On value alone, Sampson makes the weekend a net positive. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.
Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
