The Lions clearly saw something nobody else did in Dayon Hayes, taking him 257 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. The good and the questionable cancel out to a C-.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Johnson. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through safety.

It nets out as a middle-of-the-pack haul that neither helps nor hurts much.
