The Browns did not so much draft Elijah Roberts as overpay for him, 181 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

The Browns paired the rookies with proven help, Ikem Ekwonu leading the way. On value alone, Sampson makes the weekend a net positive.
