Draft Grade — Titans
Overall A
ValueB NeedB TradesA+ FutureA+
Sabb should have been long gone. The Titans pounced, and earned a A.

The Titans spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Keon Sabb, the No. 107 name on the board, in Round 6, Pick 1. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Tuimoloau has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Few war rooms will sleep better than this one tonight.

Pick Analysis
Pick20 Rnd1 Luther Burden III
In pick No. 20 they get a No. 1 receiver at fair value.
Pick33 Rnd2 JT Tuimoloau
Value said wait; JT Tuimoloau in the 33rd overall pick says they were not listening. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick78 Rnd3 Malachi Moore
Malachi Moore at pick 78 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick87 Rnd3 Kaleb Johnson
They robbed the room for Kaleb Johnson here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick104 Rnd4 Gunnar Helm
The board fumbled Gunnar Helm all the way to slot 104, and they scooped it up. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick119 Rnd4 Barrett Carter
Taking Barrett Carter in the 119th pick is close to grand larceny; a linebacker that good had no business lasting this long. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick139 Rnd5 Danny Stutsman
Danny Stutsman at Round 5, Pick 2 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick148 Rnd5 Cam Skattebo
They barely believed it either: Cam Skattebo still on the board at No. 148. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick167 Rnd5 Joshua Gray
Joshua Gray in No. 167 is fair value, right on his grade. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick176 Rnd6 Keon Sabb
A safety of that caliber at slot 176 is the definition of value, full stop. A want more than a need, though you can never have too many.
Pick240 Rnd7 Jared Wilson
Somehow Jared Wilson was still sitting there in the 240th pick, and they pounced on premier offensive lineman value. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
