Draft Grade — Rams
Overall B-
ValueB NeedB- TradesB- FutureB-
No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Rams.

Nobody else had Bilhal Kone anywhere near No. 202. The Rams did, by 32 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

Landing Harvey that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They will regret leaving safety for another day if the season turns on it.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Good work on the whole, with safety the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick26 Rnd1 Mykel Williams
A tidy little value on Mykel Williams in the Round 1 slot, a step better than break-even. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick90 Rnd3 Charles Grant
No drama and no debate, Charles Grant went about where he belonged in the 90th overall pick. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick101 Rnd3 Danny Stutsman
Danny Stutsman slid further than he should have, and slot 101 is lovely value for the linebacker. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick127 Rnd4 Oluwafemi Oladejo
A premium they did not need to pay, Oluwafemi Oladejo a notch or two before his time. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick190 Rnd6 RJ Harvey
RJ Harvey at the 190th pick is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick195 Rnd6 KeAndre Lambert-Smith
No edge and no loss on KeAndre Lambert-Smith in Round 6, Pick 19; it is a wash and a sensible one. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick201 Rnd6 Luke Elzinga
Luke Elzinga in the Round 6 slot is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Depth on depth, at a spot that was hardly crying out.
Pick202 Rnd6 Bilhal Kone
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Bilhal Kone well ahead of where he belonged. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
