Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Cowboys never addressed cornerback, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
