The Giants got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the C-.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Giants took Da'Shawn Womack a full 62 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. Call it a C- and check back in two years.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Omosigho falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Safety was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.
