Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Dolphins.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Dolphins took Alex Birchmeier a full 54 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. On value alone, Hale makes the weekend a net positive. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
