You can hear the double-takes from here. The Eagles took RJ Oben at slot 164, roughly 62 spots before his name belonged.

They banked enough surplus on Helm to cover a lot of smaller sins. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
