The Bills ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided.

Moss at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The veteran additions, Nelson Agholor chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
