If confidence were a draft strategy, the Steelers would have aced it. Garrett Dellinger at No. 229 is 68 spots clear of where he belonged. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The King value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
