A franchise passer in Sanders headlines a D+ weekend for the Browns.

There is reaching, and then there is Kai Kroeger at pick No. 200. The Browns jumped the board by 88 and dared it to prove them wrong. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D+ is the result.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. So much rides on Shedeur Sanders that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. The Baron pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.
