You can draft well and still miss the point. The Cardinals did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.
They went 1 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
