Hard to find the plan in the Steelers' weekend. D.

Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Marcus Dumervil at pick No. 21 is 349 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Landing Etienne that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
