The Chargers did not so much draft Omari Thomas as overpay for him, 192 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

Loveland falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
