The Buccaneers won the night they stopped Loveland from sliding. Grade: C+.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Buccaneers watched Colston Loveland slide 37 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It washes out to a C+, no better and no worse.

The cost of the Badger reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.
