Bucs123 DRAFTING FOR THEBuccaneers
Draft Selections
Draft Grade — Buccaneers
Overall

FutureB-
The Buccaneers checked most of the boxes and earned a B-. The Buccaneers went off the board in a big way for Tyreak Sapp, 54 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. Simmons falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.
Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
Pick Analysis
Pick28
Rnd1
Benjamin Morrison
In No. 28 they get an island corner. A real need, handled.
Pick59
Rnd2
Jaxson Dart
A reasonable price with a little left over, Jaxson Dart in the Round 2 slot. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick90
Rnd3
Josh Simmons
A tidy bit of business in Round 3, Pick 26, where Josh Simmons graded well above the range. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick126
Rnd4
Oscar Delp
This one needs a full-page explanation: Oscar Delp in slot 126, miles early. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick164
Rnd5
Antwane Wells Jr.
A tidy little value on Antwane Wells Jr. in the 164th pick, a step better than break-even. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick240
Rnd7
Tyreak Sapp
Tyreak Sapp in the 240th overall pick is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
