Nobody else had Hollin Pierce anywhere near Round 2, Pick 31. The Bears did, by 42 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

That Johnson pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
