Best value of the weekend goes to the Patriots for Giddens: A-.

The board owed the Patriots one, and it paid up: DJ Giddens, the No. 165 name on the board, sitting there at pick 222 like a gift left on the doorstep.

Reaching for Crenshaw-Dickson left real value on the table behind him. The phones were where this weekend was really won. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The Tyler Guyton deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.
