powersja06 DRAFTING FOR THEPackers
Draft Grade — Packers

Best value of the weekend goes to the Packers for Bech: B. The Packers spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Jack Bech, the No. 65 name on the board, in the Round 3 slot. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The back end got a real overhaul.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
Pick Analysis
Pick23
Rnd1
Shavon Revel Jr.
In pick 23 they get a sticky cover corner at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick54
Rnd2
Jonah Savaiinaea
A clean, defensible pick in pick No. 54 with a little surplus value in Jonah Savaiinaea. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick87
Rnd3
Jack Bech
Taking Jack Bech in No. 87 is close to grand larceny; a wide receiver that good had no business lasting this long. It fills a real need, too.
Pick123
Rnd4
Terrance Ferguson
Terrance Ferguson at the 123rd pick is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the tight end. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
