Draft Grade — Lions
Overall
B-
ValueB-

FutureB-
More right than wrong for the Lions, and a B- to prove it. You can draft well and still miss the point. The Lions did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to cornerback, which was the need that mattered most.
Frazier has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick Analysis
Pick28
Rnd1
Malaki Starks
In pick No. 28 they get a two-high chess piece. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick60
Rnd2
Tre Harris
They took Tre Harris at par in the 60th overall pick, which is nothing to complain about. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick102
Rnd3
Miles Frazier
They jumped the gun on Miles Frazier, taking him earlier than his grade liked. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
