This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Jack Nelson, the No. 130 name on the board, stolen at pick No. 167. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

It is not that Paul Jr. is a bad player; it is that the Buccaneers had louder needs to answer first. They are betting Ezeiruaku proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
